Blogging can be a very powerful tool for personal branding. It can portray different messages or opinions to an audience that allows you to connect with people across various platforms. Blogs can be used in so many different ways, both professionally or personally. They are great for promoting both a business or product.
One blog I like is BarstoolSports, they have everything from blogs, vlogs, YouTube Channels, and Podcasts. They produce so much good content that is both humorous and informative, something that is very difficult to do. In a society that is too politically correct, Barstool is very blunt about their opinions on sports, news, entertainment, etc. Their authenticity is what makes them so popular, and people respect that. They have a very large fan base, 6.5 million followers on Instagram.
Another blog I like is JRE (Joe Rogan Experience). Similarly to Barstool, Joe Rogan is very authentic in his opinions, but he talks more on current events, conspiracy theories, and overall news that's going on in today's crazy world. He uses his blog platform to promote his YouTube channel and Podcast as well. It isn't so much about the topics he covers across his platforms, but how he analyzes it all and interprets it so younger people can understand better. He also finds a way to make very serious topics humorous which is impressive. He often has celebrities, like Elon Musk, on his Podcast and they get into deep conversations about the future of technology and Artificial Intelligence and how impactful it is in society.
